2. How We Store Your Data

Local Storage Only

All your personal health information is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. We do not operate any servers that store your health data.

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your data may be included in your encrypted iCloud backup. This is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policies.

HealthKit Integration

With your permission, DoseMate can read and write weight data to Apple HealthKit. This integration is optional and controlled entirely by you through iOS system permissions.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics tools to monitor your app usage
• We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising purposes
• We do not have access to your medication or health data

4. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible and accessible within the app
• Export: You can export your data at any time from the app settings
• Delete: You can delete individual records or all app data at any time
• Permissions: You can revoke HealthKit access or notification permissions at any time through iOS Settings

5. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices:

• All data is stored using Apple's secure SwiftData framework
• Data is protected by your device's passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID
• No data is transmitted over the internet
• The app does not require user accounts or login credentials

6. Children's Privacy

DoseMate is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
